Escavox

The shelf life of perishable items is variable depending on how the product is treated in the supply chain. Maximum days of life can be assumed if treated well. If not treated well, produce shows visible deterioration, resulting in mark down, waste or poor customer experience. Mistreatment in the supply chain can happen at any point, and the visible impact is often not seen for several days. Invariably the consumer wears the direct cost; as an industry we see food wasted.

The Escavox platform measures, quantifies and visualises the chain for users. This shows not only where cold chains have failed but the level of deterioration as a result, allowing clients to target how and when to act or how they may be able to improve. Escavox has a range of live tracking devices to collect data in the field. The devices operate globally, are certified for air travel and designed to be deployed with little to no user involvement. They capture time, temperature, humidity, light, location and motion.
