July 2021
The industry-wide training program for cold chain practitioners received a timely boost at the early July 2021 HORT CONNECTIONS held at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre. AFCCC chairman Mark Mitchell made the training program a highlight of his presentation to the workshop in which he spoke about optimising the cold chain in Australia to achieve a reduction in food loss and waste. After his presentation, he was interviewed by Ashley Walmsley of the respected Queensland Country Life magazine, resulting in this article published online within a few days of the workshop.
