Leading US magazine Food Logistics has named the late Eric Prieur as its 2020 Champion of the Year. Eric, Carrier Transicold & Refrigeration System’s former director of cold chain sustainability, was not looking for personal recognition. In fact, Jon Shaw, director of sustainability for Carrier, explains that it was the exact opposite — Prieur simply believed in the work that he was doing.

Eric Prieur passed away in a plane crash while on his way to discuss the connection between food loss and waste and climate change.
