A study of waste in the cold food chain and opportunities for improvement

In early 2019, Refrigerants Australia agreed to work with the Commonwealth on a study on the cold food chain and food waste issues. The preliminary results on that study were presented at the Montreal Protocol meeting in Rome in early November 2019. Presentations were given by AFCCC Chairman Mark Mitchell, and Executive Director Dr Greg Picker and these are available on this news page and in Resources. The Expert Group, who carried out the study, have released a fact sheet containing highlights of their study.
